課程概述 |
本課程聚焦於原住民族媒體。主流社會以「消失」描述原住民族,或以多元文化呈現包裝之,原住民族媒體卻在「消失」和「再現」之間,透過各種拒絕及連結,邁向文化復振。媒體的運用能建立想像共同體,同時有助於重建「原鄉」(country),一個串連著人跟人、人類跟非人類之間的地方依附和倫理關係。原住民樂手所製作的音樂包含鄉村、雷鬼、嘻哈等流行樂種,已成為原住民族現代性、全球泛原住民族認同的平台。本課程以音樂、影片、MV、社群媒體等第一手資料的解讀以及第二首文獻閱讀探討原住民族媒體在地方感建立過程、語言復振、和解殖民實踐的運用及貢獻。 |
課程目標 |
認識原住民族媒體跟主流社會、媒體的關係
認識音樂、MV等媒體在世界構造過程的運用
培養解讀第一首資料、進行寫作的能力 |
課程要求 |
1.每週作業:本課程為討論課程 (seminar),每週上課前要準備閱讀、聆聽心得(weekly response),並積極參與課堂討論。每位修課同學在學期間必須負責一次「討論領導」(discussion leader)
2.期末報告計畫:第八週,每位修課同學必須交期末報告計畫(英文500字)
